Privacy
Nothing you submit is stored. Postal codes you submit are processed in memory and discarded when the response is sent. They are never written to storage, logs or analytics, and PostCode Check makes no network requests.
What is kept:
- Daily visitor count: a one-way hash of your network address combined with a secret salt and the date, used only to count unique daily visitors (homepage, API and MCP use; not health checks, docs or our own monitoring). The address itself is never stored, the hash is not linked to any code you submit, and it expires after 9 days. Counts are approximate.
- Rate limits: per-minute limits are counted by Cloudflare's rate limiter, keyed by network address, and are not stored by PostCode Check.
No cookies, no trackers, no analytics scripts.
